Sales Terms

§ 1. Definitions

Important legal notice: The Seller provides exclusively a guiding service (single tourist service) within the meaning of art. 4(1)(e) of the Polish Act of 24 November 2017 on Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements. The Seller does not arrange package tours, is not a tour operator and is not entered in the Central Register of Tour Operators and Linked Travel Arrangement Facilitators (CEOTiPT). Consequently, no statutory insurance guarantee for tour operators applies to the guiding service. The Customer is strongly advised to take out their own travel insurance covering accident, illness, mountain search and rescue, and trip cancellation.
§ 3. Order placement
- An Order is placed by adding the Product to the basket and completing the purchase.
- The Contract is concluded at the moment the „Buy and pay” button is pressed (art. 17(3) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act).
- Following placement of the Order, the Customer shall receive a confirmation email containing the order specification and the text of these Sales Terms.
§ 4. Prices and payment methods
- Prices are quoted in Polish złoty (PLN) as gross prices.
- The Seller benefits from the subjective VAT exemption pursuant to art. 113(1) of the Polish VAT Act.
- Payment methods: Przelewy24, BLIK, standard bank transfer (deadline: 7 days).
§ 5. Order fulfilment
5.1. Expedition Booking — guiding service
Prices: Tura 1 — Kungsleden (Tour 1): 3,000 PLN, Tura 2 — Wild Sarek (Tour 2): 3,500 PLN (limit: up to 6 participants per expedition). Following payment, the Customer shall receive a confirmation, the Participant Agreement for the guiding service and an invoice. The Customer shall sign the Participant Agreement within 14 days.
The expedition is provided as a single tourist service (guiding service) within the meaning of art. 4(1)(e) of the Polish Act on Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements; it does not constitute a package tour. The price covers the guide’s professional services on the route only; it does not include international transport, accommodation outside the route, equipment hire or insurance — these arrangements remain the Customer’s responsibility.
5.2. Book (physical goods)
Fulfilment: up to 3 working days. Delivery: DPD/InPost courier (14.99 PLN), InPost parcel lockers (12.99 PLN), Polish Post (11.99 PLN). EU delivery: from 39.99 PLN.
5.3. Ebook and Video Course (digital content)
Delivery: immediately upon receipt of payment (max. 24 hours). Course access: 12 months from activation.
§ 6. Right of withdrawal
6.1. Expedition Booking — RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL EXCLUDED
The right of withdrawal does not apply pursuant to art. 38(12) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act — services connected with leisure activities provided on a specified date or within a specified period. A separate written declaration of acknowledgement by the Consumer is required at the time of purchase.
6.2. Physical Book — 14 days
The Consumer may withdraw within 14 days of taking possession of the goods. The Book shall be returned within 14 days of submission of the withdrawal declaration. Return costs shall be borne by the Consumer.
6.3. Ebook and Video Course — EXCLUSION UPON CONSENT
The right of withdrawal does not apply once the Consumer has consented to immediate delivery of the digital content (art. 38(13) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act) and the Seller has confirmed conclusion of the contract.
§ 7. Complaints and statutory warranty
Complaints may be submitted by email to kontakt@sniegula.com or in writing. Time for response: 14 days. Failure to respond shall be deemed acceptance of the Consumer’s claim (art. 7a(2) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act). The cost of returning defective goods shall be borne by the Seller.
§ 9. Out-of-court dispute resolution
The Consumer may use the EU ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr (email: kontakt@sniegula.com), or refer the matter to the locally competent Polish Consumer Ombudsman (Rzecznik Konsumentów) or to the Provincial Trade Inspectorate (WIIH).
§ 10. Final provisions
Governing law: Polish law. Amendments to these Sales Terms shall be notified with 14 days’ advance notice. These Sales Terms shall enter into force on: 1 August 2026. The detailed cancellation rules applicable to expedition bookings are set out in the Cancellation Policy.
